Real name: Josh Feldblyum
Born January 1983 in Washington DC, and raised in the suburbs thereof.
Was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons at the age of 8, became interested in psychology at 10, started listening to modern rock music at 12, and started playing guitar at 14. These events have had a stronger effect than any other on how I turned out later in life.
Musical influences: Flanders and Swann, Eric Idle, Weird Al, Frank Zappa, the Arrogant Worms, MC Chris... oh, and some Jimmy Page guy who inspired me to play the guitar. You might have heard of him.
Day job: Therapist at a small clinic in Philadelphia, and Master's student at Villanova University. Eventually planning to earn a doctorate in clinical psych, and become an adolescent therapist. You thought this music thing was a serious career prospect?
Geek rating: High. Very high. I took my stage name from a sketch by one of the groups that inspired Monty Python, and my first release was a remix of a sketch by another group making fun of D&D players... do you really need to hear more?
