A Musical

The scene opens. It is "the Ganja House". We see Linda and Tommy lounging on the couch. The speakers are blaring "Rush".

Lee: (Pulls out mega-joint (loaf of french bread painted white?), and lights it up Ohhh, that's the stuff!
Tommy runs in
Tommy: Panting Oh my god, I just escaped from the largest cockroach ever! I was scavenging through our garbage, when this pair of 2' antennae reached out... stops for breath...and I just barely escaped...I need to get some air takes mega-joint from Lee, takes hit Ahhhhhh....
Linda: Eyes glazed over ohh, Tommy, need to talk to...
Tommy: looks up What is it?
Lee: Smiles akwardly Well Tommy, me and Linda hve decided to get married and become missionaries for the Mormon Church. We're having the ceremony Tuesday, and leaving for Laos on Wednesday!
Tommy: shocked But what will I do?
Light fades out, spotlight focuses on Tommy's face
Tommy: whining What about me? What about my dreams...?

The scene fades out, and back into the Summerhays's basement. Matt and Yuki are playing video games. The sounds of Raffi can be heard

Matt: looks up Yuki, I just realized that you're leaving the country in a week!
Yuki: stops playing Yes, my time in America has been very good, and I am sad to be leaving.
Matt: Upset! But...Japan...
