Although a light month, some interesting issues were discussed. |

November 4th, 2003 Although over a year old this article on the Greedy Record Industry is an excellent one. |

November 7th, 2003 I haven't seen the 3rd movie yet, but this review (no spoilers) is funny: What Is The Matrix? (from Tom) Some days I really identify with Wally. But, as is often the case, the Europeans save my job, with science. Games at work good for you. |

November 17th, 2003 I'm currently busy at work, just finished one project and I am in the running with another. Maybe I'll pick a new direction, next week. I have seen Matrix Revolutions. And it was a good closure to Reloaded. It was not, however, a fitting end to The Matrix. I tend to agree with the review I posted earlier. |

November 24th, 2003 "Space, the final frontier..." maybe conquered by private enterprise long before, and more efficiently than any government. Along side the X Prize Small companies are making headway in space exploration. Never start a home improvement project the weekend before Thanksgiving. For all the locals if you saw a Honda with a 4x4 wallboard on top, going like 30 on T.O., that was me. Very bad idea. On a happier note, I've managed to find some time to mess around with electronics, and my PS2 controllers. I'm hoping to build a steering wheel, break and gas interface for my PS2. I'm only piggy backing on a cheap controller, not building my own interface, but I still think it a cool first project. I hope to put up pictures once I finish, and maybe some tips/experiences to help others along. |

So Ztuff has a bit on
Copyright responsibility. It links to
Too Quick to Copyright[pdf].
Now, as I understand copyright law, the author, or in the case of a work made for hire the company it was made for, has a valid
copyright on any derivative work, based on something that they had the rights to use. Therefore a good chunk of the article
grates on me a little. However, aside from the apparent gap in understanding of copyright, the article is well reasoned, and
I think that the author makes a significant contribution to the discussion of intellectual property. <rant> Although Soze's Blog already has it up, I'm posting it because LA is stupid. However, manufactures that give in to this kind of lunacy, idiocy, stupidity and just plain brain damaged behavior are even less intelligent. To ALL hard drive manufactures I will NOT buy your products if you give in to this brand of stupidity. </rant> |
