Is sleep necessary?

September 15th, 2004 I want to build lego mechs, but I'm busy cleaning the house. I want to learn Python, but I can't get the Win32 extensions running. I want to automate my home, but I have not even finished soldering my power supply kit from Highschool. I have not even found the time to update this site. Let alone bloging books.

But stick around, cause I may decide that sleep is unnecessary.

September 21st, 2004 I really enjoyed The Age of the Essay. I plan on doing some of this myself, maybe they'll get posted around here. Another really good essay from Paul Graham is his Taste for Makers, which honestly makes me want to go listen to classic(al) music.

I honestly would like to become involved with making efficent housing. Homes that reuse and find synergies between products. Someday I hope to build my own home, and I'd love to be able to get the builder, architect, and manufactures all in a room toghter to hash out best practices. Of course I'd also make the homes "smart". To see a novel use of technology to "improve" a home see the virtual window project.

September 29th, 2004 I'm at work. We are launching a good project. I want to point you to ANOTHER essay from Paul Graham. Although I am not in awe of What the Bubble Got Right, he makes some valid points.
