UofR.net provides computing services to University of Rochester alumni. UofR.net was created in response to ResLife's decision to prohibit the Computer Interest Floor from continuing to offer accounts to University alumni. We are not currently offering new accounts.
It is important for you to understand that UofR.net is not affiliated with the University of Rochester!
As a UofR.net member, you get:
yourname@uofr.net) accessible via secure POP3, IMAP, and webmailhttp://uofr.net/~yourname)whatever@yourdomain.com)http://yourdomain.com/)To ask a question, make a request, or report abuse of UofR.net services, contact the system administrators at sysadmin at uofr dot net.
Believe it or not, it costs money to run UofR.net. If you enjoy using our services, consider donating some money:
Sam Hathaway, Joe Gester, and Dennis Lambe Jr. donate their time and space on their Slicehost Virtual Private Server to host UofR.net. Our backup server has been made possible by donations from Darrell Anderson (the server itself), Alex Chekholko (RAM and an IDE controller), Jay Nardell and Craig Harman (each donated a disk), and Hoss Firooznia (NAT router). Sam is hosting the backup server on his personal internet connection.
