Some goodies.

November 1st, 2002 A buddy of mine sent me this link that explains How To Deconstruct Almost Anything. This actually a witty and informative article by a software engineer on the field of literary criticism. The introductory tale reminds me of a scene from Cryptonomicon, by Neal Stephenson. The main charcter, Randal Waterhouse, is hanging out with his girl friend and her academic niche, and the conversation and the protagonist's response are quite humorous.

Hotmail Bulkmail Quote of the Day(TM): canibus drought

November 18th, 2002 Went to Solvang and stayed in the Kronborg Inn. Lisa and her staff took excelent care of us. I picked up a print of I Told You So. And I had an excellent time just being with my wife, shopping, and eating some excellent food.

November 19th, 2002 A buddy of mine sent me an excellent article on the DMCA with many supporting links.

November 22nd, 2002 I wish our government had some cajones. They are now pulling public sites at corprate requests.

Yuck! another copyright abuse. Sadly even business is scared.

My father in-law sent me a quarky science article. (Sorry for the pun)

November 26th, 2002 YES! Amazon has increased the limit on it's wishlist offering!

Hopefully I'll get some time to update my books page, in the next couple of days.
